Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. (Proverbs 31:10-12)

A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband. (Proverbs 12:4)

Mark and Ginger Lang's wedding anniversary is September 3rd.

The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. (Psalm 90:10)

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. (Psalm 90:12)

Two little lines I heard one day,
traveling along life's busy way;
Bringing conviction to my heart,
and from my mind would not depart;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past,
only what's done for Christ will last.

Mark's birthday is September 16.
When is your birthday?

Easter Message...

Death is a reality. As you grow older and see your loved ones die, fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, and yes even children, you begin to realize that life is fleeting and death is just a breath away. The loneliness and grief you feel as a loved one passes away sometimes seems too much to bear, but through the resurrection of Jesus Christ we have hope of a better life beyond the grave. Jesus said, "Because I live, you will live also."

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." I Peter 1:3

Jesus said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life." John 5:24

"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." I John 5:13

Jesus said, "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." John 5:28-29

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 KJV)

Jesus was born in a manger, but He didn't stay in a manger. Jesus was nailed to an old, rugged cross, but He didn't stay on an old, rugged cross. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, but He didn't stay in a borrowed tomb. The tomb is empty! The Son has risen! Jesus said, "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death." Revelation 1:18

Because of the empty tomb, you & I can have the assurance of eternal life. Death could not keep our Savior in the grave - the One who gave His life to save us from our sins has triumphed over death. Jesus' death & resurrection opened the way for all who believe in Him to experience true life in the presence of God.

REJOICE, FOR HE HAS RISEN!
